In A YouVersion Minute

The Bible App from YouVersion (LifeChurch.tv) has become the primary way I read and study the Bible. I had it installed on my BlackBerry for over a year and now have it on my iPhone and iPad. The Bible is always at my side allowing me to read and study no matter where I am.

I’ve seen some statistics in the past in regards to how many times the Bible App has been installed, but I have always wondering how much usage the application sees. The guys at YouVersion have created the below infographic that shows exactly what goes on during one minute in the community. Multiply that by 1440 minutes for a 24 hour period and that’s a lot of Bible going on :)

“I’m a Guru” – Gurus 2011 Rap from Church Tech Talk on Vimeo.

The average church technology volunteers puts in hours behind the scenes. Maintaining the church’s computers, network, video equipment, website, etc. all require specialized skills which unfortunately no one usually notices until something goes wrong.

The guys from Church Tech Talk put together the following rap video for the Gurus of Tech conference this year. Everything they talk about is so true. Thanks and Great Job!
